Weatherization

Sealing your home's "envelope" can greatly reduce energy loss in your home.  Indoor air can find many ways to flow out or in through gaps, cracks, and holes in your basement, main floors, and attic.  Many of these escape routes are built into your home by contractors and plumbers who drill, saw, and hammer openings while placing studs, joists, rafters, beams, wires, air ducts, electrical outlets, water lines, and waste pipes throughout your home.

Infrared Photo during a Home Energy Audit by Nispen Building Performance. We locate these leaks through infrared thermal imaging and blower door testing.  After we provide you a firm estimate, we begin sealing common air leak areas.
